Our Process
To ensure purity, we remove all pollen from parent plants and isolate them to prevent cross-pollination. While no seed guarantee exists, all our seeds are meticulously cleaned and sterilized for contamination.
Conservation & Stewardship
At Amazing Clivias, conservation is not only a legal responsibility — it is part of our identity as South African clivia growers. We believe that indigenous flora should be grown, traded, transported, and exported in a way that protects wild populations, supports traceability, and promotes responsible horticulture. As interest in South African plants grows locally and internationally, proper registration and permitting become essential to prevent illegal harvesting, protect biodiversity, and give customers confidence that their plants and seeds come from a lawful and responsible source.
Amazing Clivias is registered and permitted with CapeNature for key flora-related activities. We hold a permit to export protected and unprotected flora, permit number CN17-109-33661. We are also registered as a Flora Grower under permit number CN46-109-33652, and we hold a permit to sell protected flora under register number CN51-109-33653. These permits support our commitment to conservation, lawful trade, ethical propagation, responsible export, and long-term stewardship of South Africa’s clivia heritage.
